Havasu

I recently got back from a trip with my family to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Here are a few images from my Dad's camera to give you a feel for it.

I took this picture, below. That's our house on the left.

Rose Garden

Here are some pictures from the Rose Garden right by my school, taken on my new camera.

My "old" camera is a Nikon d40 so the Casio EX-V7SR I recently purchased may seem like a downgrade, but I love the size because now I have a camera with me everywhere I go.

Also, since I saved a few hundred bucks by buying it refurbished, I am less worried about hurting it every second with my perpetual clumsiness.

The 7x optical zoom is great, it has A, S, and M modes for more versatility, and the pictures aren't too shabby either.

Right?

The Neuroscience of Boredom

"Boredom is your window on the properties of time that one tends to ignore to the likely peril of one's mental equilibrium. It is your window on time's infinity. Once this window opens, don't try to shut it; on the contrary, throw it wide open."

From The Frontal Cortex, a Psychology blog Brian recommended to me about two months ago.
